Domaine des Celtis

Regulated by the AOP Languedoc Pézenas appellation, Domaine des Celtis sits close to the namesake town Pézenas, also known as the city of Molière.
In 2021, this new estate expanded the family of exceptional terroir wines produced by Blanville, reaffirming the commitment to showcase the diversity and richness of Languedoc’s appellations.
« Celtis » means hackberry trees in the Latin language. These majestic and luxuriant trees
are the typicality of the Pézenas region, and especially widespread in the appellation of the
same name.

The Domaine des Celtis is the first Blanville estate to be certified organic.
The aging process is carried out in vats to preserve the freshness of the aromas while adding complexity to the wines, which can be enjoyed from a young age. Blanville’s parcel selection within the Languedoc Pézenas appellation continues, and new cuvées from the Domaine des Celtis may be introduced in the coming years.
